never got
his guitars while going through customs in Washington, DC. Dulles Airport.
He
came through Frankfurt to Washington to San Fransisco.
A White Fender Stratocaster and a Silvertone (Stella) style acoustic
with
pickup. They were in a double sided padded gig bag, black in color. This
is
a long shot putting it out on facebook but stranger thing have happen
through the
power of the internet."

A few highlights for this week include: 1st Friday Blues
Jam with Grant Urias in the Blue Room, Jimmy Thackery & The Drivers at The Palms, the Kaye
Bohler Blues Band in the Torch Club and Tess & Hip Trash at the Cosmic Caf in Placerville
on Friday.
Saturday is the 1st annual NAACP's Rhythm & Blues
Festival at CalExpo with Lenny Williams, Johnny "Guitar" Knox, Dave Croall &
The Soothers, Marshal Wilkerson & Smoked Sugar & much more and in the Torch Club a
CD release presentation from Ms. Lara Price.
Sunday finds the great Lydia Pense & Cold Blood
performing in Folsom and a return of Stacie Eakes & The Superfreakes to the Torch Club.
The Torch Club opens at 6:00 PM, so no blues jam this week.

IBC Competition Scheduled
The Sacramento Blues Society has scheduled the annaul
IBC competition for October 10, 2010.
There's only a handful of spots left to be filled!
Entrants must have a valid Sacramento Blues Society
membership in good standing and be willing to travel to Memphis to represent the SBS at the
27th International Blues Challenge being held February 1-5, 2011.
The cut-off date to apply is October 3, 2010 and is
limited to first 10 acts who sign up and are qualified!
IBC rules & qualifications apply. Impartial judges
will be from the local & regional blues music community and will follow the official criteria
outlined by The Blues Foundation. For more information, click on the logo.
